August 2010: Recording progress on our second CD, “Mosaic” is progressing rapidly with the instrumental tracks completed on about half of the planned 14 tracks. If ‘Murphy’ and his ‘law’ don’t come into play, we are still hopeful that this project will be available for purchase in early 2011. With our studio equipment upgrades, we are euphoric about the enhancements being accomplished with the sound and production effects—which isn’t to say our first CD was subpar. We’re simply working on a better computer program! “Mosaic” will feature songs as diverse subject-wise as found on ‘Marker 1’. Expect another nice mix of medium paced pop-rockers, folk rock songs, some love ballads, a pair of sci-fi compositions to weird you out a little and a trio of heavy, electric guitar based rockers that add serious muscle to the project. “Son of Myself” might be the definitive song about a self absorbed, low life character. Other titles include “Audition”. “Eyes Of Emerald Green”, “When The Moon Spins”, “I Can Dream, Can’t I”, “Graduation Day”, “Rattler James” (great outlaw song), “Sweet Transceiver”, “The Letter”, “Homecoming Train” (we think it could be a hit for someone), “We Like It This Way”, “Wolves Of Silver Lake”, “Good To Have Your Company” and “The Installation”.
October 2009: Greg and Ralph spent 2008 through this past April partially recording songs for a second CD. The project was on hold through the summer of 2009 while technology upgrades were made with the recording studio. An ambitious schedule of recording and mixing resumes and a follow up CD to 'Marker 1' is planned for sometime in 2010. Currently, the CD is slated to contain 14 original songs. Genre and subject matter of the songs will be as diverse or more so than on 'Marker 1'. Recognizing this, current working title for the second CD is 'Mosaic'.
Here is a place where we will post announcements and any new developments we may have.
